I have been such a slacker in the updating of our blog. We didn't die or fall off the face of the earth. We have been having fun and doing whatever we feel like. Jake didn't go back to HK this year and has been building his own business of fixing dirt bikes and 4 wheelers. He has been getting busier as the time goes by and he is so much happier.
Everyone that knows us knows that we love to camp and go dirt biking. So we did alot of that all summer long.
We camp alot with Jakes family. This trip was up to Kilgore. This is a picture of our camping spot.
We went on a really fun dirt bike ride up to the top of this summit.

I got a new bike this year and am having a really good time breaking it in.
Jake is a mans man to the core. He loves chainsaws and cutting things. He spent the majority of his time chopping up wood.
Payton is getting so grown up! He is still a really big goofball though. He said that he was going to be shooting rabbits or something. Who knows with that boy.
Sitting around the camp fire.
Kade spent alot of time moving mud from the creek onto the bridge. He kept saying that he was building a bridge.
This is up in Saw Mill Canyon. Jakes families favorite place to camp. I have to admit that it is a really awesome place to go. The boys went to go find firewood and came back with an entire tree. It was "way too hard" to chop it up so they just threw the whole thing on the fire and kept pushing it in as it burned.
My cute honey getting ready to go dirt biking.
All of the guys getting ready for a guys ride.
Kade was sick this trip so he did a whole lot of sitting around. This boy never sits still.
Of course we got a flat tire. At least it wasn't while we were driving! Larry was so nice to help Jake change it.
All of us went on an 8 mile hunting hike. It was alot of fun. I had never been hunting before but I for sure want to go again!
Jake hunting for wolves.
This was right by an opening where we saw the biggest elk that I have ever seen!
Larry is such a great father in law. He took Jake and I up to Heriman State Park to ride horses. It was possibly the coolest thing I have done. We were able to ride out in the dark and listen to the elk bugle. There were so many of them. The horses were great and took us out even in the pitch black. They just instinctly knew where to go.

In between all of that fun I was running races with 3 of my best running buddies. Nicole, Sheandi and Carmen. Love those girls!
